At the annual Jim Payton Regatta picnic held on the shores of Lake Mendota, members of the Mendota Yacht Club continued recruiting volunteers for the E Scow 100 Championship. The club welcomed members from the Catamaran Racers of Wisconsin and the Kegonsa and Waubesa sailing clubs. Volunteering offers a wonderful chance to interact with sailors from different parts of the country and showcase the beauty of sailing on these Four Lakes.
